Overview of Services

Surveys identified that the Eastern section of Princess Promenade in Torquay was suffering deterioration from chloride ingress from the sea. Dawnus Construction was awarded a contract to redevelop the structures, and Corrosion Prevention Limited was retained to design an impressed current cathodic protection system for elements of the structure. The system comprised two different anode systems, titanium mesh encapsulated in sprayed concrete overlay and discrete anodes.

After completion of the design phase, we also provided on-site technical supervision during the installation works and undertook the commissioning and operation of the system.
