Overview of Services

The reinforced concrete elements of Bideford Longbridge were identified as deteriorating, due to corrosion of the reinforcement and the cast in steel sections. The remedial solution included the installation of an impressed current cathodic protection system

Corrosion Prevention Limited was retained by the repair contractor, Concrete Repairs Limited, to provide specialist technical services during the contract. These services included the implementation of a detailed quality management system for the CP installation, system commissioning, documenting the installed works and the provision of ongoing monitoring and operation of the system.
